What are Tasks?
Tasks are actionable assignments created from issues identified in your content analysis reports. They help you:
Track Progress: Monitor the status of content improvements
Assign Responsibility: Delegate issues to team members
Prioritise Work: Focus on high-impact improvements first
Collaborate Effectively: Keep everyone informed with updates
Maintain Accountability: See who's working on what
Tasks Overview
Access
1. Click your profile dropdown in the header
2. Select "Tasks"
3. View all tasks assigned to you
Core Information:
Article/Content: The content piece that needs improvement
Prompt Category: The quality check that identified the issue
Issue Details: Specific problem and recommendations
Assignment Notes: Context and instructions from the assigner
Task Metadata:
Status: Current state (Open, In Progress, Resolved, Won't Fix)
Priority: Importance level (High, Medium, Low)
Assigned To: Team member responsible for the task
Assigned By: Person who created the assignment
Due Date: Deadline for completion
Created Date: When the task was assigned
Progress Tracking:
Update History: All status changes and comments
Comment Thread: Team discussions about the task
Task Dashboard:
See all tasks assigned to you
Filter by status (Open, In Progress, Resolved, Won't Fix)
Search by content or issue description
Sort by priority or due date
Task Organisation:
Status Tabs: Quickly filter tasks by their current status
Search Function: Find specific tasks by keywords
Priority Filters: Focus on high-priority items
Due Date Sorting: See upcoming deadlines
Managing Tasks
Change Task Status:
1. Open the task details
2. Click "Update Status"
3. Select new status (In Progress, Resolved, Won't Fix)
4. Add update comments explaining progress
5. Save changes
Modify Priority:
1. Open task details
2. Click "Update Priority"
3. Select appropriate priority level
4. Add comments if the priority has changed significantly
5. Save changes
Update Due Dates:
1. Open task details
2. Click "Update Due Date"
3. Select new deadline
4. Explain the reason for the change in comments
5. Save changes
Add Progress Comments:
1. Open task details
2. Scroll to "Add Update" section
3. Write your comment with progress details
4. Include any blockers or questions
5. Submit update
Task Management For Team Admins
Team administrators have enhanced capabilities for managing team workload:
Team Admin Views:
"Assigned to me": Shows only your personal assignments
"All team": Displays tasks for all team members
How to Switch:
1. Navigate to the "Tasks" page
2. Use the view toggle at the top
3. Select "Assigned to me" or "All team"
4. View updates automatically
Creating Task Assignments
Tasks are created directly from analysis reports:
1. Run Content Analysis: Complete an analysis to generate a report
2. Review Issues: Examine identified issues and recommendations
3. Select Issue: Choose an issue to assign as a task
4. Click "Assign Issue": Opens the assignment drop-down
5. Fill Details:
- Select team member to assign to
- Set priority level (High, Medium, Low)
- Choose due date
- Add notes with context and instructions
6. Create Assignment: Task appears in assignee's task list

Tracked Changes:
Status changes with timestamps
Priority modifications
Due date adjustments
Reassignments
All comments and updates
History Details:
Who made the change
When it was made
Old value → New value

Troubleshooting
Can't see tasks assigned to you?
Verify you're logged in with the correct account
Check you're on the right team (if multi-team)
Ensure tasks were actually assigned to you
Try refreshing the page
Admin can't see team tasks?
Make sure you're using the "All team" view toggle
Verify you have the Team Admin role
Check team membership is active
Refresh if the view seems stuck
Assignment button missing?
Ensure you have a Team Tier subscription
Verify content was created with team credits
Check you have assignment permissions
Ensure the analysis report is completed successfully
Security and Privacy
Access Control:
Standard users only see their own tasks
Team admins see all team tasks
Access is enforced at the database level
Cannot bypass with URL manipulation
Data Privacy:
Task details are only visible to team members
Content access follows the same rules as reports
Update history preserved and secure
Role-based permissions are strictly enforced
Team Isolation:
Tasks in one team are not visible to other teams
Each team has a separate task list
Multi-team users must switch teams to see tasks
No cross-team task visibility
